Paying for rehab via self-pay can easily break the bank. At Comprehensive Wellness Centers, we believe that everyone should have access to the behavioral healthcare they need, regardless of their income. That’s why we’re in-network with most major health insurance providers, including Bright Health.
Easy-to-choose, easy-to-understand, and easy-to-use – that’s the goal behind Bright Health Plans. Bright Health has selected their very own Care Partners to collaborate with to provide quality healthcare at the lowest rate possible. As a trusted Care Partner of Bright Health, CWC Recovery is proud to announce that our Florida drug and alcohol rehab is in-network with Bright Health Plans.
About Bright Health Plans
Bright Health has insurance plans in 13 states, including Florida. Their company has worked diligently to curate a network of licensed doctors, hospitals, and clinics to be included in their Care Partners. By offering individual, family, and medicare advantage plans, Bright Health aims to make health insurance easier, more affordable, and more accessible. Their plans adhere to the mandates of the Affordable Care Act and have earned a prestigious URAC accreditation for complying with high standards and competing in insurance marketplaces nationwide.
Bright Health Addiction Treatment Coverage in Florida
Thanks to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare, health insurance providers are required to provide coverage for mental and behavioral health. Prior to the ACA, which was passed in March 2010, not all insurance companies were required to provide coverage for drug and alcohol rehabilitation. As a result, many individuals – even those with health insurance – did not have access to affordable addiction treatment. Now, mental health care, behavioral health care, and substance use disorder services are all considered Essential Health Benefits (EHB), requiring insurance companies to cover some amount of drug and alcohol rehab expenses.
Addiction treatment services in Florida that are included in Bright Health Plans may consist of the following.
- Inpatient detox
- Outpatient detox
- Inpatient rehab
- Partial hospitalization programming (PHP)
- IOP rehab
- Outpatient rehab
- Prescription medications
Not all services will be 100% covered with your Bright Health Plan. Speak with your insurance agent or one of our admissions coordinators today to verify your benefits and gain an understanding of what services and levels of care your plan covers.
Using Bright Health Plans to Pay for Rehab
As an in-network provider, addiction treatment at CWC Recovery is covered by Bright Health Plans. How much treatment is covered and for how long will vary depending on your individual plan and the treatment program that you choose. If you have met your deductible, some insurance plans will cover 100% of your detox and treatment expenses. Some plans, on the other hand, will require you to make co-payments for each service provided to you.
Bright Health Plans will also cover some or all of the costs of the medications prescribed to you during detox and treatment. As a result, you may have lower out-of-pocket costs if you choose a non-medical detox over a medical detox. Detox alone won’t solve your drug or alcohol problem, however, so it’s vital that you receive ongoing care after finishing detox.
Even though the ACA requires insurance companies to provide coverage for addiction treatment, it doesn’t require companies to cover inpatient treatment. Instead, some insurance plans will only provide overage for outpatient services. The length of time your health insurance plan will provide coverage for rehabilitation may vary, as well. You can verify your insurance with Bright Health directly or with one of our admissions coordinators to see how much your health plan will cover and what services are accessible to you.
